CORPORATE / COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS

i. We (Davis Home & Garden) focus on customer service and quality of work. Our T’s and C’s are here to benefit you!

ii. We will never share your personal information with ANY third parties, promise. We use them to contact you about work related issues only. They are kept secure.

iii. Quotations / Bids will be organised in advance and can be cancelled at any point without notice. If this is the case we will contact you to let you know.

iv. Quotations, Tenders and Bids are completely free. We will never ask for any money or expect you to make any kind of decision on the spot.

v. We will charge a fixed fee of £360 if design work is involved. Normally we do not charge for simple scale diagrams but this depends on the complexity of the work. This cost will be added to the quotation accordingly. This is then used as a blueprint when in the build phase of work.

vi. Quotations, bids and tenders are usually sent via email to the preferred contact in PDF format up to 72 hours after site visit, unless otherwise verbally agreed.

vii. Once a quotation has been accepted, the work will be diarised and booked. Depending on the nature of the contract, either a 60% deposit is required, or the first month’s value of the contracted price is required. This is to aid cash flow, allow us to buy initial materials and to bind the contract. You will receive an interim invoice as proof of payment. This can be paid by bank transfer, cheque, cash or your procurement system.

viii. Any preparations you (the client) need to make prior to starting will be made clear in good time.If there are any delays in beginning or maintaining the work (due to bad weather or delays in schedule) you will be informed as soon as we know.

ix. Work will commence and the designated contact will be kept informed of progress when required.

x. Teams will wear appropriate PPE and uniform, and are trained to use all tools required.

xi. If changes to plans or additional work is requested once a contract has been agreed, this will be subject to an additional cost, negotiated via the quotation method detailed above. You will receive an amended quotation for changes or a separate quotation for additional work.

xii. On completion of work, your designated contact and us (Davis Home & Garden) will inspect the work together to ensure you are satisfied, and to ensure we have left any untouched areas just the way we found them. Ongoing contracts are subject to quarterly reviews.

xiii. Cancellation of work for any reason by you once work has commenced will remain subject to the full price originally quoted and agreed.

xiv. On completion, payment for the balance of the work is due. We politely ask that this is settled within 14 days by bank transfer, cheque, cash or your procurement system. You will then receive a final invoice as proof of payment via email within 24 hours. Ongoing contracts must be paid on a monthly basis by the methods mentioned above.

xv. Hard landscaping is guaranteed for 12 months, so if anything goes wrong we will endeavor to repair or replace within a timely manner.

xvi. Soft landscaping cannot be guaranteed for one off contracts as you (the customer) are responsible for feeding and watering plants once the installation is complete. We will however advise you how best to do this and help if necessary. Soft landscaping will be guaranteed and maintained if a monthly contract is agreed.

xvii. Any photographs/videos taken of work in progress or completed works are the property of Davis Home & Garden and may be used to showcase work to potential clients in the future. We will not disclose the locations that the photographs were taken.

When accepting a quotation you are also agreeing to these terms and conditions.

RESIDENTAL CUSTOMERS

iii. Quotations will be organised in advance and can be cancelled at any point without notice. If this is the case we will contact you to let you know.

iv. Quotations and Site visits are completely free. We will never ask for any money or expect you to make any kind of decision on the spot.

v. We may ask for a small fee if garden design work is involved. Normally we do not charge for simple scale diagrams but this depends on the complexity of the work. This cost will be added to the quotation accordingly. This is then used as a blueprint when in the build phase of work.

vi. Quotations are usually sent via email in PDF format up to 48 hours after site visit, unless otherwise verbally agreed.

vii. Once a quotation has been accepted, the work will be diarised and booked. At this point a 60% deposit is required for all quotations over £1000, paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash. This is to aid cash flow, allow us to buy initial materials and to bind the contract. You will receive an interim invoice as proof of payment.

viii. Any preparations you (the customer) need to make prior to starting will be made clear in good time.

ix. If there are any delays in beginning the work (due to bad weather or delays in schedule) you will be informed as soon as we know. You will maintain your order in the schedule and we will negotiate a new start date.

x. Work will commence and you will be kept informed of progress in real time.

xi. If changes to plans or additional work is requested whilst work is in progress, this will be subject to an additional cost, negotiated via the quotation method detailed above. You will receive an amended quotation for changes or a separate quotation for additional work.

xii. On completion of work, you and us (Davis Home & Garden) will inspect the work together to ensure you are satisfied, and to ensure we have left any untouched areas just the way we found them.

xiii. If further inspections are needed (e.g. for a new lawn) this will be booked at completion of the work.

xiv. Cancellation of work for any reason by you once work has commenced will remain subject to the full price originally quoted and agreed.

xv. On completion, payment for the balance of the work is due. We politely ask that this is settled within 7 days by bank transfer, cheque or cash. You will then receive a final invoice as proof of payment via email within 24 hours.

xvi. Hard landscaping is guaranteed for 12 months, so if anything goes wrong we will endeavor to repair or replace within a timely manner.

xvii. Soft landscaping cannot be guaranteed as you (the customer) are responsible for feeding and watering plants once the installation is complete. We will however advise you how best to do this and help if necessary.

xviii. If we finish ahead of or behind schedule the quoted price will remain fixed, unless previously discussed.

xix. You will receive a follow up email asking for you to give us a review on various aspects of the work. It is appreciated if this is done as it gives us the chance to constantly improve.

xx. Any photographs/videos taken of work in progress or completed works are the property of Davis Home & Garden and may be used to showcase work to potential customers in the future. We will not disclose the locations that the photographs were taken.
